MagicboxAlerts helps you keep track of what matters to you, alerts you when something needs attention, and answers your questions about it. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices, in plain language.
What we collect
We only receive what you choose to share with us. MagicboxAlerts does not connect to, scan, or read your email, chats, or accounts on its own. Nothing reaches us unless you share it with us yourself.
- Your contact details — email, phone number, and/or push-notification token, depending on how you choose to receive alerts.
- Information and files you share with us — including any details we extract from them, so we can keep track of what matters and remind you when it counts.
- Messages you send — the questions you ask us, so we can answer them.
- Basic usage data — standard logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To organise what you share with us, and to answer the questions you ask about it.
- To send you alerts and reminders about what's coming up or needs attention — by email, push notification, or WhatsApp.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How your information is stored and who can access it
Your information lives in a private, access-controlled space tied to your account — no other customer can see your data. To provide the service, automated systems process what you share with us to extract and organise the information; a small number of authorised people can technically access data where strictly necessary to run, debug, or secure the service, and we keep that access to a minimum.
Service providers we use
We use established cloud infrastructure, messaging, and data-processing providers to run the service. These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality commitments, and only for the purposes described above.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing hello@magicboxalerts.com, and we'll remove it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and per-account isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Children
MagicboxAlerts is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new version here with a revised date.
